Hot Pepper Gaming was a YouTube channel where the hosts review video games while eating chili peppers and/or hot sauces. For the Introduction animation, I took inspiration from Pixel art that uses properties of 8-bit and 16-bit graphics. Classic games like Super Mario, Pokemon and Zelda have these characteristics so it felt fitting to use it for the animation. The color palette was inspired from the original yellow and red combination with a retro twist. For the lower third, I repeated the randomized text effect for cohesive design and to keep the viewers on their toes.
